It has taste enhancing properties because of its umami flavour with sweet and bacon like accents. It goes well with vegetables, soups and stews, and is rich in iodine, iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium and vitamin K. It is also known to be useful in improving thyroid health, prevention of anemia, controlling diabetes and in weight management. We offer Royal kombu as fresh frozen product, dried flakes, powder and in frozen cubes.
