Barry Callebaut Alkalize Cocoa Powder is a high quality, bulk cocoa powder from Callebaut of Belgium. Alkalised (Dutched) cocoa powder is Pure cocoa liquor in powder form with 99.6% minimum fineness. It is in medium brown colour and does not produce any off taste. The Dutch process will neutralise pH (not acidic like natural cocoa) of cocoa powder. Therefore, Dutch processed cocoa powder can be used in recipes that use baking powder for leavening.
